I scared the crap out of my mail lady today, all in the sake of getting my Influenster box. So my dad has my car right now since his in the shop, so it looks like no one is at home. I was walking to the kitchen which passes the front door and saw her walking up the steps and opened it. She jumped of course. I kind of feel bad but at the same time she handed me my Influenster box so I was really excited.

Influenster is completely free and boxes are kind of a surprise type thing. They don’t occur monthly, or regularly at all. Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in Black:

$4.99 - Full Size - .042 oz.

I’m actually really excited about this! I love a lot of Rimmel cosmetics so to get eyeliner is exciting because I’ve never owned one. I also have coupons right now for Rimmel so I definitely know I’m going to go out and buy at least one more eyeliner in a brown shade. This is an extremely cream formula, it’s not overly dark but I think that’s perfect because I own a lot of really dark blacks.

NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Sugar Plum

$1.99 - Full Size - .11 oz.

Honestly I can’t rave enough about this lipstick brand. This is a darker color then I have ever owned by them. I like the formula of this particular one unlike the brighter colors it’s a less drying. The brighter colors tend to have a more matte finish whereas this is more of a satin/glaze finish. I absolutely love this color, because it’s a shade that I wear quite often with other brands and this runs a lot cheaper than other brands do. It’s kind of a mauve-pink shade that looks amazing against my pale skin because it’s not too dark or too bright. The picture of the tube just doesn't do the color justice, I promise it's not actually that brown.

Rimmel London Gentle Eye Make Up Remover:

$7.49 - Full Size - 4.2 fl. oz.

Sadly I tried this almost as soon as I finished taking pictures with the Scandaleyes eyeliner. It was so hard to try and get the eyeliner off. It might work for non-waterproof eye makeup but it definitely doesn’t work on waterproof unless you really scrub to get it off which is painful.

Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum:

$2.30 - Sample Size - .1 fl. oz. (Full Size is 1 oz & $22.99)

This is a sample size but it does come with a $2 off coupon for Target. I’m interest to try this and can probably get one or two uses out of it but nothing that will truly show if it works or not.

EcoTools Sleek + Shine Finisher Hair Brush:
$10.99 - Full Size

I’m excited that I got this brush out of three options possible, mainly because it was the one that went best with my personal hair type. The bristles are a little harder then I was expecting so I’m hoping that they don’t damage my dry hair.

Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea Decaffeinated:

$0.25 - 2 Tea Bags

I’m not a tea drinker; sadly it’s just not something that I find tasteful. I think I’m going to make this on Christmas in case I don’t care for the taste because I have a cousin who loves tea that will drink this so I know it doesn’t go to waste. I love the cute packaging and that it’s a special holiday tea that they put in this box. Full Size is 20 Bags for $2.49.

Fruit Vines Bites in Strawberry:

$1.79 - Full Size - 5 oz.

So these are from the same makers of Red Vines. I absolutely love Red Vines, which is interesting because I hate most other licorice brands. I’m excited to try these out because I think they would be a great snack for driving or just to eat around the house.

McCormick Gourmet All Natural Thyme:

$4.79 - Full Size - .62 oz

This still seems so random to me. I will say that I do love cooking and using spices so I’m always willing to get new spices to add to my collection. I like this in particular because I only own ground thyme. This will definitely be used!

Overall Opinion:

I like this box, it’s not my favorite that I’ve received to test from Influenster. I like the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner & the NYC Expert Last Lipstick. I think they are great products and I’m excited that they were in the box. I’m also excited to try the Fruit Vines and the EcoTools hair brush. I’m on the fence about the thyme, tea, and the serum. Since I tried the Rimmel Eye Make Up Remover, I’m not the biggest fan of it.
