Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Review

About a month ago Physicians Formula was doing a contest to possibly win 1 of 1,000 free samples of their Shimmer Strips. I signed up because you never know, lone and behold I got an email from them a little later that said I had one a set of the liners. I received them in the mail yesterday and instantly decided to put them to the test.

A little bit about my eyelids and how they work with products. I have fairly normal eyelids as in they aren’t overly dry nor are they overly oily. If I use a primer my shadows and liners on my upper lid last most of the day. I have hooded lids but I normally don't have transfer issues.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Review

Hi Everyone,

So I bought this after watching a few reviews on YouTube about it. I like the L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly but in all honesty I can't stand the smell after about a month of it being open. It does okay but it never wowed me to the point where I'm like this is my Holy Grail drugstore mascara. Now I'll admit that I absolutely adore the Urban Decay Revolution Mascara, it's by far my favorite high-end mascara. However, even that doesn't give me much length and volume but it does make my eyelashes a dramatic black and I love the formula.

I figured if a lot of YouTube gurus liked it then heck why not give it a shot. It's originally $6.50-$8.00 depending on what store you go to. I got mine at Meijer (kind of like a Walmart but with sales) for $6.49 because of a $1 off sale, I also had a $3 off coupon making this $3.49 which for me is a great price for mascara. Honestly, I don't like spending over $5.00 for a mascara. (I get my Urban Decay mascara on Ebay for about $10, which is $12 less than in store).

I got mine in Waterproof & the shade Very Black (they didn't have the Blackest Black in my store available in waterproof but I think Very Black is pretty good too). Click the Read More button below to see my review of this product!

Ipsy January 2015

Hi Everyone,

It’s that time of the month again, Ipsy time! I’ve been debating the past couple months ending my Ipsy subscription, simply because I haven’t really loved most of the products. This month and next month are the determiners for keeping my subscription. If I don’t like them then I will be ending my subscription with Ipsy and trying a different one instead.

Now that I have a job, I can actually use part of that money to get a little bit more expensive subscription service. I’ve been debating going back to Glossybox or trying Boxycharm. Even though they are about $11 more expensive. Although, I’m holding out hope for Ipsy to wow me enough in February that I will want to keep my subscription service with them.

Favorites of 2014!

Hi Everyone,

I can’t believe it’s the new year already, can you? 2014 wasn’t the best year for me, and to be honest I’m expecting a lot better from 2015. However, when it came to finding products that I can’t live without 2014 was actually pretty good! I’ve split this into two different posts; this is the beauty inspired one.
